I went OCC today to look and say hi to my fellow friends. Miss them so muchhhhhhhhhhhie! It's nice to see them again =)

My dad and I then drove to suntec to take a look at the home electronics fair BUT we couldn't even enter the carpark. Even the neighbouring buildings also dun have lots! So we headed down to Causeway Point afterwards. Browsed Courts for plasma TV and 4 different salesmen attended to us. They gave us the feeling that they were out to con us so in the end my dad just walked out of the place. hahaha!

My parents and I then settled down at the Pump Room @ clark quay after dinner. And what I've expected, they didn't appreciate the music haha!

I'm being lazy but then I thought I should at least blog something... erm, Monday was sweet and fun. Thanks to you :) made my day. Went Vivo on monday and had sushi for lunch! Yum yum! I bought 2 dresses and a black v neck top. Shall upload the pics sometime soon.

And today, I went Vivo AGAIN! And bought another dress at the same shop hehe! I love Forever 21! Nice clothes with a nice price! keke. I love what I've bought!!! So contented lor!

My parents, marlene, Aunty Cherry and I went to 3 hotels today.

1st stop: Furama RiverFront for dinner.. listened to the band (4 piece band... 3 ladies in skimpy outfits and a guy on the keyboard) for a while.

2nd stop: Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore... The atmosphere was damn high! So many mid-aged people on the dance floor doing their cha-cha and twist. Band was good! Full-band some more. Nice music, nice sound system. I had bailey's irish cream *yummy!, dad had Hoegarden, Mar had Planter's Punch, mum and cherry had Shirley Temple =)

3rd stop: Miramar Hotel... Similar band to RiverFront. 3 ladies (again in short short skirts, must-have knee length boots, and oh-so-tight tops) and a Calefare (which is the guy on the keyboard. poor chap!) They can really dance man! And they sing RnB songs like from the pussycat dolls and Beyonce. They could even sing "Bleeding Love". However, the sound system was such a turn-off! This time, Mar sipped Pink Lady, dad drank Carlsberg, cherry had Governor's Smile, mum and I had tea

So, you could guess who drove back lah...

The buffet at Furama RiverFront is appalling. Lack of quality and variety as well. I find the buffet at Furama City Centre good though (coz they got chocolate fountain!!! =D). But then they can't be compared to Four Seasons Hotel Sunday Brunch. Of course, you gotta pay more for the quality lah..

Sigh* seriously I dun think I can be a good wife next time 'coz I HATE grocery shopping!! Especially when the supermarket is crowded. *faints*
eh eh, dun laugh at me ok! I certainly have reached that age where I start to worry about my duties for the near future. See, I was observing aunties choosing food and they kept picking up packets and pinching them before putting them back again into the freezer. And I wondered "WHAT FOR AH?! If it's hard then means no good ah?" Grocery shopping is such a complex task... If you want to buy frozen prata, there are like 4-5 different brands with different prices. So which one to pick?? Can I just grab anyone of them? I bet they are all the same right?

I met honey and shena yesterday for dinner @ Fish and Co. ! It was great catching up with them after such a long time... miss them lor!! Boy, it ain't easy working at Fish N Co.! Not only you gotta serve, you gotta Cheer and SING birthday songs too! And we're not talking abt just one birthday or 2.. it's like 10?! Poor band boys.. they had to stop so many times because of the birthday cheers. hahahaha. I love their Big Fish Drinks.. Fishylicious =)

run for hope

we left the house for east coast park before sunrise and gosh I was so tired!! "Run For Hope" is formaly known as "Terry Fox Run" and all proceeds go to the "National Cancer Centre of Singapore". We managed to find the main tent and asked what sort of help we could offer. The guy just dropped a bomb on me when he told us we can help the drink station which was 2km ahead! So we took a slow jog to the drink station.

Later on we joined back the crowd and ran back to the finish line. My stamina sucks man!! I was panting when I reached the line haha! I guess the silliest thing I did in the morning was to participate in their "warm down" exercise.. it's pretty much like the "singapore workout"

I can so picture my dad in his 70s grabbing his goodie bag and joining the other old folks from the community centre in such events. hahahahaha!

To sum it all, quite FUN leh!

I woke up several times coz my nose was running. Felt my mucus slowly dripping down to my lips.. you know how irritating that was??? Like when you are really sleepy, everything is so quiet and peaceful and you could feel that sticky fluid flowing down from your nostril? gosh.. in my head all I could think was "No... no... not my mucus again? DARN! I gotta walk to my bathroom to clean it up. How I wish it can just evaporate fast like alcohol!"

My mum woke me up at 3 plus and so my parents and I headed down to Anchorpoint for late lunch and some shopping. I didn't sneeze much... just about a 100 times?

I took a nap after reaching home and here I am awake... blogging! Please pray for me for I'm going to leave my house at 5.30am to volunteer in "Run For Hope" event later.

Freak! Freak freak! I went to the gym at Yishun earlier on and saw this disgusting guy who flexed his muscles in front of the mirror every min or so!!!! And he was like bouncing to the music while admiring his own arms! Talking abt being self-obssessed.. he's the ultimate example man!
Ok ok, he has a rather big chest (like bigger than my boobs!) and rather chunky arms but then look at his legs! Look at his butt!!! He has the legs of Sesame Street "Big Bird" and his butt is like how flat lor.. like airport runway!!! It doesn't matter if a guy is well-built or wat.. but at least proportionate rite???? Eyebrows architect

I'd always wanted brown eyebrows to match my new hair colour and WaLA! I have brown eyebrows now! This is the first time I stepped into Browhaus.. one word to desribe the place - COOL! There are several green cubicles and in each one, there is a sort of like a dentist chair with that bright lamp which facial salons use.

So first, Doreen (the very friendly brow "architect") stirred the mixture and then gently applied it on my brows. I was so afraid it would sting coz I have sensitive skin.. but it turned out ok! Then she tidied my brows using the method "threading". It's a new experience for me and honestly it feels weird... was quite comfortable actually. Not as painful as tweezing... can go try!

NEXT: WAXING! wahahahaha. I've been wanting to do this but am so freaking scared!!!!!!!

Yeah! Home sweet home! All the jabs, drips and pain.. caused me a lot of stress. Had complications coz I got allergic to the X-Ray dye that contained Iodine. Now then I know I am allergic to Iodine *shrugs* My face swelled like a hippo, body turned red and had rashes so I was scratching all the time. My face was puffy for the next 2 days... U-G-L-Y.

I have to watch what I eat now... on soft diet. Nothing spicy, nothing oily. Means I cannot have Kimchi soup and cannot have STEAMBOAT!!! =(

My next training is on friday and will be working on my legs, back and abs. Abs exercise... cry! I hate training my abs =( And my trainer gave me a food journal to write down wat I ate -.-

Just watched "Money No Enough 2".. very nice story line. I particularly like a hokkien song named 家后 (which means "wife") It's abt the love and loyalty a wife has for her husband.

Some part of the show reminds me of you. 女人一生最怕的是跟错人。 The show has showed me the consequences of jumping into a marriage even though knowing he's not the right one. But she loves him so much that she could sacrifice for him. It was till when she took the rap for him and sentenced to jail then he realised how good she is. Sad... sad.. she got to go to such extent then her husband will then treasure her.

I really feel cheated.. feelings toyed by you. You said you'll change and did so many things that melted my heart. I was convinced. But when you got me back, you're back to your old self. You were very anxious about me when I was away. And now it seemed that you are not afraid I'll be gone and so you dun have to care! What's the point of getting back to you when you dun cherish me? Everything was going well till this morning. I've finally come to terms with the fact that a person cannot change. He is who he is. I am who I am. Not that I didn't know, but more than I didn't want to accept the fact. But now, I've chosen to acknowledge it.

It's good to know that you've grown in either ways. And happy to know that you've learnt from this relationship.
